DCSBDC - MWBG Small Business Expo at Howard University

The DC Small Business Development Center (DCSBDC) and the Metropolitan Washington Bankers Group (MWBG) are co-sponsoring our 2nd annual Small Business Expo at Howard University Blackburn Center. This year's event will include a plenary discussion on small business outlook, four curated workshop tracks (procurement, certification, finance, and technology), an exhibitors’ area open throughout the day with Federal and local government agencies, lending partners, and other small business resources to answer questions and provide guidance to attendees.

Speaker(s): Various experts will be speaking at the plenary session and in each of the track workshops. More details on the program, speakers and exhibitors to follow.

The Fall semester is in session at Howard University. Limited metered parking is available on 6th Street on campus and in the surrounding area through Parkmobile. Visitor parking is available on the Howard Center Lot (across the street from the Howard University Book Store) at a rate of $10/day (Credit Card only). The entrance to the Howard Center Lot is located on 8th Street, NW. Vehicles parked WITHOUT a valid permit in PERMIT LOTS are subject to ticketing, towing, and or immobilization (at owner’s expense).
